Registered Nurse (RN)

Together with Manna Research, we are one of the largest networks of fully-owned and integrated outpatient clinical research sites in North America, with 16 centers of excellence in four provinces (Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia & Quebec). Combined, we have over 40 years of experience conducting more than 1500 clinical research studies to thoroughly test new medications and medical devices for safety and efficacy.

Currently, our rapidly expanding team is in need of a Registered Nurse who can help with conducting clinical services as required by the protocol and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) , as well as performing responsibilities as per training and medical/study directives. This is a casual position with expected shifts to be as needed. This position will be located at our Manna Vancouver office.

Please note - This individual must be a Registered Nurse (RN) and registered with the Association of Registered Nurses in British Columbia (ARNBC) with no restrictions to practice 

The Registered Nurse is responsible for conducting clinical services as required by the protocol and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) , and for performing responsibilities as per training and medical/study directives.

Responsibilities 

  • Conduct procedures of Protocol and SOP in accordance with training
  • Perform any technical and administrative  functions as training allows
  • Performs medication administration for clinical research purposes; as well as for medical management
  • Conduct Informed Consent
  • Monitoring and documentation of subject’s  health status
  • Report health changes to physician’s required

Requirements

Education 

  • Current ARNBC Registration with no restrictions to practice
  • Proficiency in  MS word, MS outlook

Experience

  • Phase I –IV clinical research is considered an asset
  • Proficient Phlebotomy and IV skills is mandatory
  • Functions independently and in a  team
  • Demonstrates attention to detail
  • Effective prioritizing
  • Multi-tasking capability
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule
