Administrative Coordinator

Currently, our growing team is looking for an Administrative Coordinator to join us on a full-time permanent basis supporting our Calgary clinic.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supervising staff and participation in performance management and evaluations
  • Orienting and training new employees
  • Staff scheduling
  • Establishing workplace standards and procedures
  • Providing oversight and assistance with the efficient flow of the practice
  • Patient management - appointment scheduling, reception, registration, visit supervision
  • Liaising with medical laboratories/physician offices for appropriate patient documentation
  • Managing patient appointments and physicians' schedules
  • Ordering and tracking of office supplies
  • Assisting with external referrals to other specialists and programs (i.e. specialists, tests etc.)
  • Completing third party forms & letters when required
  • Providing resource support for medical billing services and processing of accounts receivable & when required
  • Developing & performance managing the Practice Program staff
  • Independently screening and interviewing for 1st round candidates
  • Initiating problem-solving for facility and IT issues
  • Promoting new practices; effectively networking with industry related contacts

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience working in a medical/healthcare office with ideally 1-2 years of experience leading or managing team
  • You’ll need to have access to a vehicle.
